Springfield, MA (Future150) -- IMG Academy (FL) put on one of the more impressive performances at The Spalding HoopHall Classic earlier this month, and 2018 big man Emmit Williams absolutely stole the show.

The 6-foot-8 Florida native dazzled scouts, coaches and the fans with a fantastic display of finishing at the rim, taking his man off the dribble and blocking shots. This is just his first year at IMG, but it's clear that he's taken another leap in his development in his short time at the prep powerhouse.

With the way he's been playing this season, Williams will likely make the jump to five-star status in the next rankings update. Regardless of where he is ranked, it's clear that Williams has become a priority recruit.

West Virginia, Florida, FSU, Miami, UCF, Alabama, Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma, USC, TCU, Georgia Tech, and Texas A&M are among the schools recruiting him, with WVU being a steady presence at his games the past few weeks

"Their head coach [Bob Huggins] came to see me when we were at the Cancer Research Classic and they had an assistant to see me here today as well," said Williams at The HoopHall Classic.

An active big man with face-up ability, shot blocking and elite athleticism, Williams fits right into what WVU does and could be the next great big man to come through the program should he decide to go that route, but a decision is a ways away.

"Location isn't going to make a difference for me, what will be is who can get me to the next level, that's what is important to me. But right now I'm focused on the high school season. I probably won't take any visits until next year," Williams said.

The E1T1 big man will likely see his list change in the coming weeks. He's proven to be an elite prospect in this class and it's only a matter of time before all of the blue bloods offer him.
