Guntersville, AL (Future150) -- The 2019 Future150 Tournament Series was back for its 12th year and got started in Guntersville, AL at the Spring Grind Session. The tournament featured players from all over the state of Alabama in 17U-12U Boys and 17U Girls.
The Alabama Celtics had a strong showing over the weekend. They shot the ball extremely well and that was never more evident than in the championship game. They hit 14 three's and beat Team Swat 96-46 in blow out fashion.
Let's see who had break out performances on the weekend. Future150 found tons of unknown talent.
Cameron Glover- 2020 CG of the Alabama Celtics is a scoring machine. His shoot performance in the championship game was out of this world. He hit 7 three pointers and had 29 points in the game. Moving without the ball, finding his spots in transition and shooting the ball like he's a member of the splash brothers are things he does extremely well.
Michael Murry- 2020 CF of the Alabama Celtis is a big time athlete who makes his living in the paint. He rebounds the ball well both ends expecially the offensive glass. Playing above the rim, highlight dunks and creating second chance opportunities are things he did well all weekend long.
Collin Lockard- 2020, SF of Team Swat is super athletic, finishes well at the rim and is very skilled. He has good footwork in the paint and plays bigger than his 6’4” frame. Guarding multiple positions, shooting from all three levels and offensive rebounding are things that stand out when you watch him play. Weekend Stat line: 18 pnts, 10 rebs 2 blks.
Isaac Jones- 2020, PG of Team Swat is a big time slasher who loves getting to the rim on the fast break. He can score on all three levels, guard both guard positions and make everyone around him better. Taking contact, being crafty at the rim and getting downhill on his defenders make him tough to stop.
Robertson- 2020, SG of Networks is a wing player who likes to score in bunches. His abilitiy to shoot the three ball keeps the defense honest. Scoring in transition, playing good on ball defense and making smart decisions are the attributes of a player. He averaged 13 points per game during the tournament.
