Pottsville, PA (Future150) -- A standout at the 2016 Future150 Pennsylvania Camp this fall, 2018 power forward prospect Mark Dadika is beginning to see his name catch on among college coaches.
Playing for Saint Mary High School (NJ), the 6'8", 210-pound post came to camp as a relative unknown, but left a big impression on Future150 staff with his polished post play and overall skill level.
Currently, there are several division one programs tracking the talented big man, including Boston University, East Carolina, Elon, Fairleigh Dickinson, Holy Cross, NJIT & Old Dominion.
He's already visited Boston U, Holy Cross & NJIT, and is planning to unofficially visit American, East Carolina, Elon, Missouri State, Old Dominion & Richmond in the near future.
While his stock is certainly taking off, he's focused on his current high school season.
"We're striving to win our conference and be league champions four years in a row. We also want to make counties and states. Individually, my goal is to average a double-double and I'd like to score my 1,000th point as soon as possible," he told Future150.
He's certainly off to a good start, averaging 22 points and 15 rebounds per game in this young season, along with four blocks per contest.
Modeling his game after NBA Hall-of-Fame center Hakeem Olajuwon & New York Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis, he's following in a long line of talented family members on the hardwood.
"So far, we've had six family members score over 1,000 points, and I'll be the seventh. We've scored over 10,000 points at the high school level as a family," he went on to say.
Stay tuned to Future150 as we continue to track the talented New Jersey post as he tries to take his game to another level this winter and spring.
