Dallas, TX (Future150) -- Every year, a number of juniors follow big high school seasons with big AAU seasons, and the offers begin to really roll in.
For Richland (TX) PG C.J. Roberts, that may just be how this year plays out. The speedy lead guard has had a monster season, and could be take his game to another level.
He can get to the rim, and his ball handling skills allow him to create more than enough scoring opportunties for his teammates as well. In a day where point guards are counted to score more, Roberts' game is becoming more valuable.
Baylor, SMU, TCU, Oklahoma, Texas, Miami, Albama, Kansas State, Alabama, Indiana, Iowa State, Lamar, and UT-Arlington are the programs who are showing the most interest. Virginia Tech, Illinois, and LSU are among the other programs who have offered as well.
Playing with Mo Williams on the EYBL circuit this Spring. Roberts certainly has plans on having a big first weekend in New York. Should that happen, the bigger offers could be just around the corner.
