Pottsville, PA (Future150) -- Over the past several years, the Pottsville Area Crimson Tide have been one of the most successful programs in the state of Pennsylvania. And senior point guard and Future150 Pennsylvania Camp All-Star Jordan Abdo is a big reason why they continue to win games.
The 6-foot scorer not only helped the Tide win league and district championships last season, but he was also voted as a Republican & Herald 1st Team All-Area pick in 2016, and he's ready for an even bigger 2017.
"I want to win another Schuylkill League title, another district championship, and go farther in the state playoffs than we have in previous years," he told Future150.
Averaging 17 points per game this year and leading Pottsville to a 6-3 record so far, he's having the kind of season many expected of him. He got a headstart on it by attending and excelling at Future150 Pennsylvania Camp, where his playmaking and scoring ability impressed our scouts.
Several schools have started monitoring his progress, including DeSales, Kings, Lebanon Valley, Moravian & Wilkes. With his continued success on the floor, it's easy to see why the local programs are chasing the guard.
A basketball junkie who's worked very hard over the past several years, he has some lofty expectations for his future.
"I dream to play college basketball and become an all-american at my school of choice. Then I would like to play professionally overseas," he went on to say.
Stay tuned to Future150 as we continue to update you on his strong senior season.
