Los Angeles, CA (Future150) -- The USC Trojans only have a two man class at this point for 2017, headlined by a Future150 Alumni. What will these two guys bring to the table? Does Coach Enfield have a shot at landing any other prospects for this class?
HARD COMMITS:
Jordan Usher, 6'5" Shooting Guard, Canton (GA): A two guard with fantastic size and strength for the next level, Usher will fit right into Coach Enfield's system. He gets a lot of his scoring done by slashing to the basket and using his strength to finish through contact at the rim. He is a great rebounder at his position and is fully capable of knocking down the mid-range jump shot. He's certainly capable of having an impact right away for USC, but depending on who returns from the backcourt for the 2017-18 season, he may not see as much playing time. Make no mistake, Usher is poised to have a great career as a Trojan.
Victor Uyaelunmo, 7'0" Center, Miami (FL): This 7-footer from Florida will be able to help immediately on the glass and protecting the rim on defense. He has great timing on the defensive end and could become a premier shot blocker in college basketball before his career comes to an end. On the offensive end he still has some development and strength he needs to add to his game before becoming a true threat down low, but until then he will feast on the offensive glass and making most of his money on put back layups and dunks.
OTHER OFFERS:
There should be one name on Trojan fans minds at this point when speaking on other potential prospects that could commit to this class, Charles O'Bannon Jr. Many seem to think that Texas and USC are the front runners for the 6'5" wing, with NC State making some noise as a darkhorse candidate as well. If Enfield can pull in O'Bannon Jr., this would make for a very solid three man class with two fantastic guard/wings for the future. USC fans make sure to continue to follow O'Bannon's recruiting process closely.
