Saint Louis, MO (Future150) -- The Travis Ford era has begun at Saint Louis and he has already reeled in two solid prospects for the Billikens, what will these guys bring to the table? Does Coach Ford have a shot at pulling any other prospects for this class?
HARD COMMITS:
Jordan Goodwin, 6'2" Shooting Guard, Belleville (IL): With such a great motor paired with good size and strength, Goodwin is a killer around the rim and can finish in a variety of ways. Even though he's a two-guard he's very unselfish with the ball in his hands and has great court vision in the half-court setting. It wouldn't be surprising to see him translate into more of a combo guard throughout his career at Saint Louis.
Hasahn French, 6'7" Combo Forward, Springfield (MA): A absolute bruiser at 6'7", French just makes winning plays. He's relentless on the glass and has no problem finishing through contact with his incredible strength. Even though he's played at the four-spot most of his playing days up to this point, it seems right to project him as combo forward in the future due to his continually developing perimeter game. French will be an extremely intriguing player for the Billikens to say the least.
OTHER OFFERS:
Unfortunately, this looks like this could very well end up being the 2017 class for the Billikens but bringing in two top-tier players at each their respective positions is nothing to be ashamed of. For what it's worth, Saint Louis already has a great head start with the 2018 class as they recently picked up a commitment from 5-star PF Carte'Are Gordon.
