Starkville, MS (Future150) -- Mississippi State already has three commitments from the 2017 class, one of which is considered to be one of the best scorers in the class. What do these three guys bring to the table for Coach Howland and the Bulldogs?
Nick Weatherspoon, 6'2" Combo Guard, Camden (MS): The Camden native, simply put, can score the basketball. He has solid size at 6'2" and knows how to put the ball in the basket from all three levels. He has good court vision and knows when to pass and set up his teammates. Weatherspoon will have a great career in the SEC and will definitely be one of the more exciting freshman to watch once the 2017-18 season comes around.
Garrison Brooks, 6'10" Power Forward, Auburn (AL): Brooks is the most recent addition to this class as the Bulldogs beat out Auburn, and North Carolina among others. The potential is certainly there for him to be an elite frontcourt presence in the SEC. His extremely long wingspan allows him to block plenty of shots and he has no issues finishing over the top of the defense at the rim. His best days of basketball are still ahead of him.
KeyShawn Feazell, 6'9" Power Forward, Monticello (MS): A hard-nosed four man, Feazell knows how to use his size to his advantage on the glass. He expanded his offensive game a bit over the summer, but still has to work to do once he gets to the next level. Some development under Coach Howland and playing in the SEC wil shape Feazell into a very good player before his college playing career comes to an end.
