Miami, FL (Future150) -- The Miami Hurricanes have a solid three man class already locked up for the 2017 class, including a top-tier point guard and center at each position respectively. What will these guys bring to Coach Larranaga's program? Do the Canes have a shot at any other elite prosepcts?

HARD COMMITS:

Chris Lykes, 5'7" Point Guard, Washington (DC): One of the best point guards in the class, don't let Lykes small stature fool you. His electric speed and ball-handling abiltiies paired with his high IQ and court vision will allow him to make an immediate impact for the Canes, especially in the steals and assists categories. Lykes will quickly become a fan favorite and will emerge as one of the more exciting players to watch in the ACC.

Deng Gak, 6'11" Center, Blairstown (NJ): Gak is still a raw center but his size and length allows him to clean the glass on offense and control the paint on defense. It may take him a little bit to get adjusted to the physicality at the next level, but once he beefs up he could definitely be a nightmare to matchup with on both ends of the floor.

Sam Waardenburg, 6'9" Power Forward, New Zealand: An international prospect from New Zealand, Waardenburg has great mobility at 6'9" and runs the floor extremely well. He has a smooth jumper that he can knock down from just about anywhere on the court, and he crashes the glass hard on both ends. He will probably take more time adjusting than his other two freshman teammates, but he has the size, physical tools, and skills to make an impact on the program over the next three to four years.

OTHER OFFERS:

Besides adding Deng Gak to the class, the biggest news that had previously came off the recruiting trail for Miami was when 5-star SG Lonnie Walker (PA) trimmed his list to five schools and the Canes made the cut. Unfortunately most of the buzz has been circulating around Arizona and Villanova for Walker, but it's still probably something Miami fans may want to keep an eye on because you just never know.
