2016 Rankings Loaded With North Carolina Talent

Nashville, TN (Future150) -- The hype machine is already starting to take off on freshman sensation Harry Giles, the talented 6'8" forward who is Future150's new #1 prospect in the class of 2016.

The North Carolina product is one of several prospects who find themselves on the list of our updated top 50 for the class, showing the state's overall strength in 2016.

The next Tar Heel State product in the rankings is 6'8" power forward Edrice Adebayo, who checks in at #11 in our latest rankings.

Elite athlete Kwe Parker of Trinity Christian (NC) comes in at #32 after blowing up this spring. He is followed by mammoth 7'0" big man Raekwon Long of Charlotte at #34.

The fifth North Carolina prospect to make the national rankings list is the high school and AAU teammate of Kwe Parker, point guard Dennis Smith Jr., whe sneaks in at #45 nationally.

Making sure that North Carolina doesn't steal all the love, Seventh Woods represents South Carolina well, rising to #3 in the class.

Detroit shooting guard Josh Jackson finds himself all the way up to #6 after showing a dominant overall game at the Spiece Run N' Slam a few weeks ago.

Other big risers included Malik Monk (#9), Houston's De'Aaron Fox (#10), and Jaylen Fisher of Memphis.(#20).

Two prospects who are new to the rankings are Ryan Pippins (#44) of Arkansas, and Juwan Durham (#46) of Florida.
