Piscataway, NJ (Future150) -- National Signing Day brought some exciting times and news for several 2013 recruits, but some of the biggest news may have come from a 2015 kid.
Karl Towns, the No. 2 player in the 2015 Future150 rankings, stole some of the show on Wednesday, as the rumor rumblings became true: a commitment is coming soon for the star sophomore.
According to his father, Karl Towns, Sr., his son is looking at making a decision on December 4th, just a mere few weeks away.
Despite being young, Towns has already been covered from the recruiting aspect of things. It looks as if the process is beginning to wear on the youngster.
And now the most popular question is where will he end up?
A couple of schools are undoubtedly out in front.
Towns spent a portion of the summer playing for the Dominican Republic national team, coached by none other than Kentucky coach John Calipari. During this time, the star had a chance to fit into Calipari's system and accustom himself to the Kentucky campus.
On the other hand, Towns made a statement by saying Florida has always been a dream school of his.
Duke can also be thrown into the mix, but it is evident that the two SEC schools have held a firm lead in his recruitment for quite some time.
A decision from a 2015 kid at this point in the process is unheard of to say the least, but there is the possibility of Towns moving up to his original class, the Class of 2014.
So, with that being said, the questions now will begin to circulate.
Where will Karl Towns end up? And which class will he be a part of?
It sounds like we will know some of that equation on December 4th.
Stay tuned for more info on this situation.
