Philadelphia, PA (Future150) -- A few weeks into the AAU season, 2015 point guard Jared Armstrong of the New Rens (NY) has finally picked up his first college offer.
Last week, Cal Poly extended an offer to the 5-foot-9 guard from Philadelphia, hopefully opening the door for plenty more offers down the road.
"It just feels so surreal (to receive my first offer)," Armstrong began. "It is just showing that my hard work is finally starting to pay off, and if I continue to work, more offers can come."
Armstrong is also receiving interest from George Mason, Boston, Detroit, UCLA, South Florida, and North Carolina.
"God has blessed me with the opportunity to play basketball at a high level, so I am accepting my opportunities by working hard every day!
Expect more offers to come for the talented freshman throughout the summer.
