Lakeland, FL (Future150) -- One of the hottest names on the recruiting trail this summer has been rising junior Corey Sanders. The 6'0" point guard is one of the most explosive athletes in his class, and he is also one of the strongest guards we have seen nationally.

His latest standout performances have been at Future150 Camp Orlando as well as the Reebok Breakout Classic, where he proved to be one of the elite perimeter prospects in the class.

"It's been a great summer. I landed a handful of offers and feel like I've shown everyone that I can really play at a high level at the point guard position," he told me recently.

Known as a relentless attacker and vicious dunker, the bouncy floor general has quite an impressive list of scholarship offers to date. Central Florida, Marquette, Georgia Southern, Memphis, Rider, Murray State, James Madison, South Florida, Cincinnati, and Tennessee have each extended an offer to the Lakeland, Florida native.

According to him, Michigan, Louisville, Florida, Clemson, Ohio State, Georgia, and Kentucky have all been in contact with him recently, but haven't offered.

Overshadowed by best friend Dwayne Bacon until this AAU season, the two have talked at length about being a possible package deal at the next level.

"We talk about it, yeah. If it's a good look for both of us...then we're going to do it," he said.

In terms of schools who have offered both prospects so far, that list includes Central Florida, Georgia Southern, Memphis, South Florida, Cincinnati, and Tennessee.

For now, the two will continue to enjoy playing AAU ball together, as well as high school ball. Both will be playing their junior seasons at IMG Academy, one of the most prestigious schools in the state.

Enjoy the tandem while you can, because we don't know how much longer they will share the same backcourt.
