Dallas, TX (Future150) -- The upstart Triple A Academy (TX) basketball team is quickly becoming one of the hottest names in prep circles in the south right now.

The main reason for their recent success has been combo guard and Future150's #5 player in the 2015 class, King McClure.

However, he isn't the only prospect who is making his mark in the basketball world at Triple A Academy. Junior Jeremiah Jeffersonsophomore Tyler Singleton and freshman Harrison Henderson are also highly regarded recruits for their age.

Their post prospect who is beginning to attract division one interest currently is sophomore Dalyn Mumphrey.

The 6'6", 205-pound power forward prospect is carving his own niche on his squad as a relentless rebounder with an endless motor.

Currently, the University of Iowa and Stephen F. Austin have inquired about the talented sophomore who is averaging roughly four points and six rebounds per game for the 16-5 Stallions.

"A state championship is the main goal this season. My personal goals are to lead my district in rebounds and blocks," he told Future150.

While his frame and skill set undoubtedly would have gotten him exposure on the basketball court sometime this year, the Future150 Dallas camp last fall is one place where he got to showcase his talents on a national scale.

"My Future150 experience was great. I got a chance to play with top talent in Dallas and other surrounding areas."

When it comes to a role model, Dalyn looks up to Kevin Durant, mainly because they share the same character traits.

"Kevin Durant is the main person I admire because of how humble he is. His attitude on and off the court is inspiring," he told me this week.

While college is still years away for him, he already is looking at life after basketball.

"I want to be a medical examiner if my dream of the NBA doesn't happen,so forensic science will be my major."

While he may be looking at life after basketball already, his hoops career is very bright...and it's just getting started.
