Pittsburgh, PA (Future150) -- Not many people have heard the name Logan McLane before, but that is about to change. The talented swingman was impressive at Pitt Jamfest, often grabbing a rebound and driving the length of the floor and finding the open teammate. While normally that sequence wouldn't seem overly impressive, it is worth noting that McLane is 6-foot-8.
McLane shows a special set of skills for someone his size and although he is built like a forward, he has fantastic guard skills. At this point in his game he is better facing and attack the basket off the dribble, but it was in transition that he truly shined. His court vision is fantastic and he often picked apart opposing defenses while in Pittsburgh. Maybe thats why schools such as Iowa, George Mason, Stanford, UNC-Wilmington, and Elon have all shown interest in him.
"I just want to get better every day," McLane said. Right now he is not focused on the recruiting process as much, although Liberty has invited him to their elite camp. McLane said he's not sure if he will attend their camp just yet. Be prepared to hear Logan's name a lot more often in the coming years, as few players have the size and skill he does.
