Brunswick, GA (Future150) -- The 12-5 Brunswick High School (GA) Pirates have the luxory of having two extremely talented brothers in their lineup.

Future150 first covered 2015 swingman Roger Davis last month. Now, it's his brothers turn. Michale Davis Jr. is the catalyst for the Pirates.

The 6'2", 170-pound lead guard is playing a multitude of positions for his team this year, which will only help his overall game in the grand scheme of things.

"This season is going ok. I am having to do a few more things in the offense. I am logging minutes in the backcourt and the frontcourt. I think this will help me overall with my ability to pass and shoot. I am also learning the fundamentals of post play .It also is helping me defensively with position defense, communication, boxing out and drawing offensive fouls," he told Future150.

While playing his diverse role this season, he is doing a fantastic job of filling the stat sheet. Currently, he is averaging nine points, seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals per game.

What Michale Jr. is most proud of though, is his team leading 1.5 charges taken per game.

Currently, College of Coastal Georgia, West Texas A&M, Texas Southern, and Eckerd College are taking a look at him, according to his father.

As for goals for the season, Michale Jr. had this to say. "I want to win region, have myself and my brother make All-Region, and make a deep run into the playoffs."

He credits his basketball skills and his love for the game to his father, Michale Davis Sr., who always pushes the boys to do their best.

"My dad is a vivsionary. We may not agree with some of his decisions, but he is just trying to make me and my brothers responsible, productive members of society.I feel we sometimes think he is unfair but he has a lot of confidence in us to reach our full potential in life as well as on the court. He pushes us to be the best in the classroom as well. He tells us basketball is a means to an end. Basketball will possibly pay for our education, or at least some of it. Education is big in our household. No grades no ball."

He has even started looking into the future, knowing what he is looking for in a college program and has an idea of what he would like to study at whichever school he attends.

"I am looking for a school with a high graduation rate and want to study marine biology."

Look for the Davis brothers on the AAU circuit this spring playing with the South Georgia Kings.
