Greenville, NC (Future150) -- One of the more under the radar prospects in 2014, forward Logan McLane showed he had serious game through last Spring and Summer on the AAU circuit. It seemed as though he was destined for a breakout high school year and the few high-majors that were interested early, such as Iowa and Stanford, would offer soon enough.
Unfortunetly it was not to be, as McLane's high school campaign has been cut short due to a torn ACL. Still, programs have seen enough of McLane to know what he brings to the table. Miami (OH), Winthrop, Buffalo, Saint Louis, UNC-G, and Mercer have all offered and now Seton Hall has become the first high-major to join them.
He also holds interest from Charleston, UMass, George Mason, Elon, Tennessee, and UMass. McLane should be making a return in either June or July according to him. He recently visited Elon and described the visit as a good time. Ultimately his ability to put the ball on the floor, find the open man, and score on the block should prove that he is in fact able to play at the highest level in college.
Comments:
Thank you for the write up. His Junior season was cut short due to his injury, but we are anticipating a return this summer. We are looking forward to his senior season with his current school, Greenfield.
