San Diego, CA (Future150) -- With the high school basketball season finishing up on the West Coast, many players are beginning to focus on off-season training and narrowing down their school lists.
Santa Fe Christian High School (CA) senior small forward Grant Corsi is doing exactly that. The rising senior is excited about the next chapter in his basketball career; many schools are excited about the possibility of him joining their program as well.
Corsi helped lead Santa Fe Christian to a 20-9 record by averaging 21 points and 10 rebounds a game this season. At 6-foot-6, Corsi has great size and build to play small forward on the collegiate level. The forward has consistent range out to the three-point line, is mobile, and because he played a great deal of center in high school, is skilled on the low block as well.
Although Corsi has received a good deal of interest from several schools already, his stock is continuing to rise as the summer approaches. The small forward has interest from University of Puget Sound, South Dakota School of Mines, Biola University, Dominican University, Cal-Lutheran, Vanguard University and most recently Division I programs Columbia University and University of Iona.
Corsi has no favorite school just yet, but the senior is looking for a school that has strong academics to go with a competitive basketball program. The small forward is planning on visiting Biola University this Thursday, March 7th.
Grant Corsi was a First-Team All-Coastal League selection as a junior last season and is expected to be voted so again this season.
