Corinth, MS (Future150) -- The Lighthouse Classic takes place this weekend, November 29-30, in Corinth, Mississippi. Some of the top teams from Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, and Louisiana will be present.
TOP PLAYERS: Leron Black, Devin Booker, Chris Chiozza, Justin Coleman, Davell Roby, Donte Fitzpatrick, Brandon Sampson, Marcus Watson, Nych Smith, Chris McNeal, and Cedric McGinnis.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR: With this quality grade of players and teams, the competition should be excellent throughout the two days of action for the Lighthouse Classic.
The first big game bring some of the top names into action will be Corinth hosting Moss Point. Moss Point is led by Kentucky signee Devin Booker and Future150 alum Marcus Watson, a 2015 point guard.
Moss Point will also take on Southwind out of Memphis on Saturday; Southwind features 2015 athlete Donte Fitzpatrick, who is an exciting highlight reel.
DeSoto (TX) and Madison Prep (LA) will wrap up play on Friday night. Both of these teams have key players. Baylor signee TJ Maston and Loyola Marymount signee Devin Wyatt will suit up for DeSoto, while Madison Prep features 2015 forward Brandon Sampson.
White Station will bring its strong squad headlined by Illinois signee Leron Black, Florida signee Chris Chiozza, Saint Louis signee Davell Roby, and 2015 Nych Smith to also face a strong DeSoto team.
Madison Prep will also host Alabama powerhouse Wenonah, who has won three straight state championships in the state. They feature Alabama signee Justin Coleman and 2014 point guard Cedric McGinnis.
Jackson Southside features a Future150 All-American in 2015 point guard Chris McNeal. He and his team will take on Corinth on Saturday.
Future150 looks forward to seeing these big name players, as well as some new emerging stars.
