Birmingham, AL (Future150) -- Another prospect that has attended our camp in the past has made a college decision. This time, it was A.J. Lynch, a 2012 point guard from Blount High School in Mobile, Ala.
Lynch made his pledge to Austin Peay over thr weekend while on an official visit. During the visit, he knew he wanted to be a Governor.
"Saturday I made up my mind. I was comfortable with everything on-campus and the situation."
However, there were other factors in his decision to make the call for Austin Peay.
"The education was the first reason as to why I chose Austin Peay," Lynch said Tuesday night. "But it also is an opportunity for me to go to a place and win games. It feels like home to me," he explained.
Lynch hopes to help lead his squad to the top of the Ohio Valley Conference. With his versatility, it could happen very soon.
"I can come in and play both guard positions. I also take pride in my defense."
Not aware of what kind of player Lynch is? The 6-foot-2 guard diagnosed his game for Future150:
"I would say my biggest strength is shooting the ball. I've become really comfortable shooting. I can handle the ball, too." Lynch will arrive in Clarksville later in the summer.
