Jamal is a true point guard. He is an excellent facilitator who always look to pass first and shoot second. He makes the right play at the right time and when necessary, he can get to basket and score with crafty drives at the rim. He is also a superb ball-handler. Solid on-ball defender.
He must continue to gain strength. He also must work on his scoring skills, specifically knocking down open shots from the outside. Must improve his shot mechanics and release point. Needs to continue his development in the basketball IQ department. Needs to be more aggressive on both ends of the floor.
