  Shamar is a true post player with a solid set of big man skills to match. He is a relentless rebounder on both ends of the floor. He is also an excellent shot blocker. Loves to physically grind his way to the basket and finish at the rim. Also has a nice little jumper out to 8-10 feet.

• Weaknesses:
  

  He needs to work on his foot speed. He also needs to work on staying on his feet instead of always trying to block shots. Must also become a better post passer when double-teamed.
