Cedric Russell.  SG 6’0” 145lbs Plays for Cenla Storm, a first year club from Alexandria, LA. Has excellent ball handling skills and can finish with both hands. Solid back to the basket game and has great range on his jump shot. Needs to get more explosive with his jumping, but that should come as he gets older.

Nobody is even close to Cody Riley. He’d be a beast in any class. My son played with him at Hoop Scoop All American camp. I got a close up view for 3 days. Built like Lebron. Needs a better motor, but it’s hard to hold that against him when there’s nobody to push him.

He is a athletic specimen. There are no kids that can match him physically, but there are several kids in the class that are more skilled than him. You’re definitely right about his motor. I watched him play twice in Memphis at DI Nationals and he was a non factor both games. It’ll be interesting to see him as this class gets older and the athletic gap closes.

Cody Riley right now is very advanced for his age, so it will be interesting to see what happens when other prospects start to close the gap on him in the coming years. That is when we will be able to tell just how much work he has put into his skill set in the meantime.  I am intrigued by Cedric Russell. I haven’t seen him play, but Future150 would love to get a look at him during one of our upcoming camps in the southeast…

We were supposed to attend your Houston camp, but had some issues come up. I had been speaking to Mr. Pratt and someone was supposed to be contacting me in regards to Cedric.

Okay coach. What is your name and number? I can give you a call this week as soon as I get your information.
