Future150 Dallas Camp (September 20th-21st, 2014): Westbrooks is an intriguing guard in that he can play either position. He has a high basketball IQ and has no problem deferring to this teammates if it means getting a better shot for his team. While he’s not lightning quick, he finds a way to probe the defense and get into dangerous spots on the floor. The next step for him will be becoming a better shooter from distance.
Westbrooks is a big bodied guard who likes to score in transition. He can finish through contact when getting to the rim. He rebounds well from the wing position and can knock down the 3 ball if left open. One thing that sets him apart is his understanding of how to play the game and how he affects others on the court by his play. Gotta love how he knows how to win.
