He is very smooth with his game and made things happen as a point guard. He has a great basketball IQ and understands what needs to be done during the game, whether it means speeding up/slowing down or facilitating/driving. The kid just gets it. Hemphill used his smooth play to get in the lane when he wanted and he could finish with a layup or floater, as well as kicking out to open shooters. He will be a prospect that needs to be monitored by low-major coaches in July.
