Malik Newman is a great athlete who can score at will. He has a great first step and can get anywhere on the floor he chooses. He loves to get out on the break and attack the rim where he has the uncanny ability to finish through contact. He has a great double move off the bounce and a beautiful pull up jumper. He is one of the top three-point shooters in the class. At the pace he is on, he has all the makings of becoming a professional.

Must learn how to play without the ball in his hands more often. He also needs to improve his on-ball defense.
