Jaron Hopkins is one of the most athletic players in high school basketball. Blessed with extraordinary leaping ability, he uses it to his advantage on the fast break as well as in the half-court game. He also has very good ball-handling skills as well as solid court vision, which could help him make a transition to point guard at the college level.
He needs to become more of a shooter, instead of relying on his natural athletic ability to get him to the rim at all times. Once he learns to balance the two, he will be an extremely dangerous offensive player.
