Baton Rouge, LA (Future150) -- Episcopal High School (LA) and Future150 Alum point guard William Jones is beginning to garner major college attention in the spring of 2012.

The rising junior averaged 16 points, eight rebounds, and four assists per game this past season, while improving in a number of areas.

Part of what makes him such a successful player at the high school level is the fact that he knows his strengths and plays to them.

"I'm very good at attacking the rim, as well as getting all of my teammates involved." Sounds a lot like the player he models his game after, which is Chicago Bulls superstar lead guard Derrick Rose.

However, he isn't blind to the fact that he needs to improve in a few different areas of his game if he wants to be the best player he can possibly become. "Specifically, I need to work on my off-the-dribble 3-point shooting, just tightening up my jump shot in general."

Right now, the 6'3", 200-pound guard is beginning to receive heavy interest from LSU, Kansas State, Oklahoma, and West Virginia. With more schools sure to follow, he is focused on a strong junior season ahead.

"I want to win a state championship, be a great point guard, better my game, and become a vocal leader."
