Atlanta, GA (Future150) -- Samford University has struck again on the recruiting trail in the state of Georgia. After bringing in Elijah Bryant in the early signing period, the Bulldogs added another Georgia talent on Saturday.
Jordan Capps, a forward out of Peachtree Ridge (GA), gave his commitment to Samford following a competitive recruiting process.
"I chose Samford because it feels like a great fit and the coaching staff has the best interest in developing me as a player and an all-around person," Capps told Future150.com following his commitment.

While playing time may be available right away for the 6-foot-7 forward, relationships prevailed in his recruitment.
"It already feels like home in some ways. I'm surrounded by good, down-to-earth people that will help me be successful."
Capps chose the Bulldogs over Western Kentucky, Jacksonville, Duquesne, Columbia, Winthrop, Santa Clara, and Texas State.
"It feels good to have the recruiting process finished," he noted. "It was a blessing to have all the schools recruiting me, but it's a long process that can be stressful."
Capps joins Bryant and Emeka Ikezu, a 6-foot-9 big man from Hargrave Military Academy (VA).
