Nixa, MO (Future150) -- While he is no hurry to make a college decision, 2013 forward Jalen Norman is beginning to separate the schools that have passed on him.
In the past week, the Nixa High School (MO) standout has removed several schools from his list, including Butler, Oregon State, and Wichita State, among others.
"I'm just trying to get rid of the schools who have already had people commit or that aren't that serious anymore," he told Future150.
Nevertheless, the 6-foot-6, 210-pound forward has added a couple of offers in the past week as well.
While Yale cannot offer scholarships, they have offered Norman plenty of financial aid, equivalent to an offer; Eastern Illinois has also offered lately.
"The schools I'm considering the most are Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri State, Boston College, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Lehigh."
Bill Self's Jayhawks are a new school to his preliminary list.
"Kansas has been interested for a while, but they just started sending more stuff. It's nothing heavy right now, though."
Norman could be a big sleeper for a mid-major school in the end.
