Philadelphia, PA (Future150) -- Year in and year out, Germantown Academy in suburban Philadelphia is known as not only one of the most successful programs in the state of Pennsylvania, but the country as well. The Patriots not only compete against top-flight competition from around the country on a yearly basis, but they are also known as a program that develops successful student athletes who excel at the college level and beyond.

Matt Walsh, Lee Melchionni, and Ryan Ayers are just a few past stars who had standout careers at the highest level of division one basketball, starring at the University of Florida, Duke University, and the University of Notre Dame, respectively.  The next young Patriot looking to take his game and brain to the next level is 2013 shooting guard Greg Dotson.

The 6'5", 195-pound guard had a standout junior season for Germantown Academy. He averaged 14 points, 9.5 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks per contest while improving in all aspects of his game.

In the months following his stellar junior season, the results haven't gone unnoticed by college coaches in the northeast.

"At this point, I mainly have interest from most of the Patriot League, the Ivy League, a few Big 10 schools, a few MAAC schools, CAA and NEC schools. I recently heard from Tulane."

Now that he is embarking on the summer before his senior season, it's extremely important to finish his career on a high note, not only at Germantown Academy, but while also suiting up for Team Philly on the AAU circuit.

"I plan on working hard on my handle and pull up jump shots in order to play the 2 or 3 at the next level. My goals for this summer are to basically play against some the best teams and players across the country and work on my game."

While he hasn't narrowed down a list of top schools where he would like to attend, the standout defensive player knows exactly what he wants in his future college home.

"I just want to go to a place where I feel comfortable and my parents can come watch me play."
