New York, NY (Future150) -- Last weekend Marcus Foster and The Dallas Mustangs made the long trip from Texas to New York City for the famed Rumble in the Bronx tournament. While the Mustangs ran into a bump in pool play and found themselves in the silver bracket, the weekend was still a success.
Leading the way for the Mustangs was none other than Marcus Foster, who kept his team running smoothly and showed off a fantastic stroke from deep all weekend.
"This has been fun. I like playing out here against guys who I don't usually get the chance to play against," Foster said.
He went on to admit that it was nice to get the opportunity to showcase his abilities out on the east coast.
While he might have been a bit unknown out east before Rumble, he is well known to college coaches already.
He is being recruited by Oklahoma, Kansas State, TCU, SMU, Texas, Lehigh, and Creighton. All of those schools have offered except for the Longhorns, although an offer could be coming soon.
The shooter maintained that no school stood out over any of the others and that he was still open to hearing from other programs as well. It is also worth mentioning that Creighton is recruiting his teammate Soma Edo.
Things should heat up for Foster this summer as the Mustangs play in both the Great American Shootout and the Adidas Invitational come July. Look for his stock to rise throughout the next live period.
