Mid-Majors Chasing 2013 Demetrius Dyson After Decommitment

Shooting guard Demetrius Dyson has become a hot commodity since decommitting from Lipscomb last week. Future150 caught up with the athletic 6’5” scorer this past weekend at the 10aC Top 20 Elite Showcase, and this is what he had to say regarding his recruitment…

“Tennessee State and La Salle have both called me this week,” he told Future150. Along with those two programs, UMass has also been involved. One thing is for certain, Demetrius is a prospect who can make an impact at the next level at any of the above programs. Due to a torn meniscus during his junior year, he fell off the radar some, but that hasn’t deterred him from picking up solid looks as of late.

Thoroughbreds Getting In With 2014 SG/SF Jalen Lindsey, #23 in Future150 Rankings.

While Jalen Lindsey has a tentative list of nine schools who have offered him and are pursuing him hardest, three of college basketball’s most historic programs have been in contact with Jalen recently.

Louisville, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio State, Providence, Auburn, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, and Vanderbilt are all in good position with the Lindsey family right now, but three historic programs are getting into the mix.

Duke, Kentucky, and North Carolina have all been in contact with Jalen. While none of them have offered a scholarship yet, it may be only a matter of time, especially if he has a big AAU season.

The rankings are based on new faces joining teams, projections of team cohesiveness, and results from last seasons AAU circuit. We will be expanding the rankings to 25 spots as we view teams during the spring liver period. Teams that are up for consideration are listed below on the “Watchlist”. Team Rankings will be updated weekly based on key wins or losses and overall performance.
